About Me

Hi there! My name is Teajai (TJ) and I’m the creator behind Cheerdocious, where I design and handmake one-of-a-kind teddy bears, and t-shirts, and curate other charming handmade goods for you and your home.

I started Cheerdocious in 2013 originally as a place for all-star cheerleaders and their families to find custom accessories like shoe covers, mini uniforms, and unique bears dressed in team colors. As a former cheer mom myself, I know how meaningful those special touches can be. I learned to sew from my crafty mother and aunt when I was young, and have been handmaking items ever since.

As my business has evolved, I’ve expanded into offering whimsical, handmade t-shirts and teddy bears for all ages. I love bringing a smile to my customers’ faces with my unique, customizable designs. I also curate a selection of products from other independent, women-owned small businesses, like soaps, candles, kitchen items, and more.

In addition to sewing, I’ve recently also picked up crochet and love being able to provide crocheted items too. Everything I make is infused with love and creativity. My goal is to spread joy through my charming handmade creations that families can treasure for years to come.
